Cystic nephroma

Cystic nephroma refers to two morphologically identical tumours with different molecular changes:

• Cystic nephroma, adult type - do not have DICER1 mutations.
• Cystic nephroma, pediatric type - generally have DICER1 mutations, as seen in DICER1 syndrome.
