Nintendo[a] is a Japanese multinational video game company headquartered in Kyoto. It is responsible for the creation and development of The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario franchises.
In the Minecraft franchise
- There is a Super Mario Mash-Up Pack.[Switch & New 3DS only]
- Minecraft exists for the following consoles made by Nintendo: Nintendo Switch,[note 1] Nintendo 3DS[note 2] and Wii U.
- Minecraft Dungeons, Minecraft Legends, and Minecraft: Story Mode can also be played on Nintendo consoles, with Dungeons and Legends being playable on Switch, and Story Mode being playable on both Wii U and Switch.

History
In 1889, Fusajiro Yamauchi created a company called Nintendo to make Hanafuda cards. Later in 1977, Hiroshi Yamautchi turned Nintendo into a video game company.
- In 2015, Nintendo teamed up with Mojang and 4J Studios to create the Wii U Edition of Minecraft.
- In September of 2017, Nintendo, Mojang and Other Ocean Interactive created the New Nintendo 3DS Edition of Minecraft, 2 months after the discontinuation of the New Nintendo 3DS.
- In 2018, Nintendo, Mojang and 4J Studios created the Nintendo Switch Edition.
- Later that same year, Nintendo Switch Edition was replaced with Bedrock Edition.
- In 2020, Nintendo introduced the Challenge Pack 7 DLC to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which added Steve and Alex as playable fighters.
