Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (Japanese: ソニックレーシング クロスワールド) is a kart racing video game published by Sega.
Minecraft content was added to the game on October 8, 2025[5] as part of its Season Pass, which is also included in the Digital Deluxe Edition.[6]
Background
Sonic Racing is a series part of the larger Sonic the Hedgehog franchise that features various Sega and third party characters racing against one another in karts on various differently themed courses. Its first entry, Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing, was released in 2010. Announced at the tail end of the Fearless: Year of Shadow, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is the unofficial fourth installment of the series and was released on September 25, 2025. The game features Minecraft content as paid downloadable content, as well as other guest characters such as Ichiban Kasuga from Like a Dragon, Joker from Persona, Hatsune Miku, NiGHTS, AiAi from Super Monkey Ball, SpongeBob SquarePants, PAC-MAN, and Mega Man.
