Žbince (Hungarian: Nagycseb) is a village and municipality in Michalovce District in the Kosice Region of eastern Slovakia. The village lies at an altitude of 106 metres (348 ft) and covers an area of 15.069 square kilometres (5.818 mi²). It has a population of about 950.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 104 metres (341 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 15.06 km² (5.81 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1221.

It has a population of 987 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 1022 people by ethnicity 926 as Slovak, 56 as Not found out, 45 as Romani, 10 as Czech, 7 as Ukrainian, 5 as Hungarian and 1 as Romanian.
