A United Nations Secretary-General selection is currently being held to choose the next Secretary-General of the United Nations. The incumbent Secretary-General is António Guterres of Portugal, whose term ends on 31 December 2026.[1]
Campaign
On January 16, Annalena Baerbock, President of the United Nations General Assembly, publicly called on more candidates to enter the race.[2]
