Albagiara (Sardinian: Ollasta), is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Oristano. It has a population of 227.[2]
Albagiara borders the following municipalities: Ales, Assolo, Genoni, Gonnosnò, Mogorella, Usellus, Villa Sant'Antonio. The economy is based on agriculture and woodcraft.
Demographics
As of 2025, Albagiara has a population of 227, of which 48.9% are male and 51.1% are female, compared to the national average of 49.0% and 51.0% respectively. Minors make up 11.0% of the population, and seniors make up 39.2%, compared to the national average of 14.9% and 24.7% respectively.[2]

Immigration
As of 2025, the foreign-born population is 10, making up 4.4% of the total population. The foreign nationalities are Kyrgyz (2), Romanians (2), Belgians, Germans, Serbians, South Africans, Swiss and Tunisians (all at 1 individual each).[5]
