Anishma Anilkumar (born 27 June 1999) is an Indian actress who works primarily in the Malayalam and Tamil film industries. She is known for her roles in Poovan (2023), I Am Kathalan (2024), Maranamass (2025) and Sirai (2026).

Early life

Anishma Anilkumar was born on 27 June 1999 to Anilkumar and Sumadevi. They are natives of Kattakkada, Trivandrum, Kerala. Before entering the film industry, Anishma completed her B.Tech. at Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology, Trivandrum, in 2021. She initially faced resistance from her family regarding her acting career.[1] Anishma has expressed her interest in pursuing acting over other career paths such as PSC exams.[2]

Career

She made her film debut in Poovan (2023).[3] She is known for her performances in Naslen's I Am Kathalan (2024)[4] and Basil's Maranamass (2025).[5] She made her Tamil debut in Vikram Prabhu's Sirai (2025).[6][7] She also appeared in the TV series Secret Stories.[8]
