Dolná Krupá (German: Unterkrupa; Hungarian: Alsókorompa) is a village and municipality of Trnava District in the Trnava region of Slovakia. It is located in the Danubian Hills at around 12 km from the city of Trnava.
The important sights in the village are:
- the Saint Andrew church, built in 1807-1811
- the Dolná Krupá manor
The Dolná Krupá manor was one of the residences of the House of Chotek, one of the most prominent Bohemian noble families. It was the place of the Dolná Krupá rosarium created by Countess Marie Henrietta Chotek von Wognin.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 192 metres (630 ft)[3] and covers an area of 24.63 km2 (9.51 sq mi) (2024).[4]
