The Historic Pact (Spanish: Pacto Histórico, PH) is a Colombian political party founded on 13 June 2025.[1][2] It is the result of the union of the parties Patriotic Union, Alternative Democratic Pole, and the Colombian Communist Party that formed part of the political coalition Historic Pact for Colombia.[3][4] The merger was approved by the National Electoral Council (CNE) on 17 September 2025,[5] and became an official political party on 3 December of that year.[6][7] Humane Colombia was intended to be one of the parties that merged to create PH, but this was declined by the CNE due to a lack of quorum in approving the merger. As the successor of the Historic Pact for Colombia, it is the current government coalition in Colombia after the 2022 presidential elections.
