Konopczyn [kɔˈnɔpt͡ʂɨn] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Mońki, within Mońki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] Based on the 2011 census the village had 71 inhabitants.[2] From 1975 to 1998, it was part of the Białystok Voivodeship before the present administrative reforms placed it in the Podlaskie Voivodeship.[3] The village is in a region known for its humid continental climate and is located close to Bierbza National Park, which protects one of Europe's biggest swamp areas.[4]
