Laxmi Krishna

Laxmi Krishna is an Indian celebrity costume designer,^[1][2] stylist primarily known for her work in the Kannada Tamil and Bollywood film industries.^[3][4][5]

Krishna established herself as a prominent designer^[6] in the Kannada film industry, designing for more than 30 feature films and numerous high-profile celebrities across South Indian cinema^[7] and Bollywood over a three-year period. She has provided costume designs^[8] for all leading Kannada actors and actresses.^[9][10]

She expanded into Bollywood, designing for actors and media personalities^[11][12] such as Govinda, Sunny Leone, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Karan Kundra, and Urfi Javed. She also gained recognition for designing Kumar Sanu's wardrobe for Indian Idol.

Beyond cinema, Krishna has served as a designer and stylist^[13] for major international pageants and global brand print campaigns;^[14] she notably designed the national costume for a Femina Miss India finalist, and her work in music videos includes "Mallige Hoova," featuring Ashika Ranganath, and "Dash" by Chandan Shetty.

Laxmi Krishna is from Hospet Karnataka. She holds Bachelor of Engineering (BE). MBA from London and completing further studies in fashion at Cambridge University. She later transitioned into business and design, earning an In addition to her academic pursuits, she is a professional Bharatanatyam dancer and a gold medalist in face reading. She is the founder of the fashion house Laxmi Krishna Label. Laxmi Krishna contributes to the fashion discourse as a columnist for Deccan Chronicle,^[15][16] where she writes on styling and industry trends.^[17]
