Liz Miele (born 1985[1] is an American stand-up comedian and writer[2] based in New York City.

Born and raised in Pennington, New Jersey,[1] Miele attended Hopewell Valley Central High School.[3] She started doing stand-up comedy at age 16.[4][5] As a teenager, she had a correspondence with George Carlin, who became a friend and mentor.[6]

She has appeared on @fter Midnight,[7] Comedy Central, FOX, AXS TV,[8] Hulu, and Wait Wait Don't Tell Me.[9]

Miele has also been featured in The New Yorker,[10] The New York Times,[11] The Guardian[6] and Paste magazine.[12]

She has toured internationally, written a book, Why Cats Are Assholes,[13] and has self-produced four one-hour comedy specials on YouTube, which have over 6 million views.[14]

She has dyslexia.[6][15]
