Manas Shah (born 11 January)[1] is an Indian television and film actor who has worked in Hindi and Gujarati-language productions. He began his acting career with the television series Hamari Devrani in 2008 and later appeared in Gujarati television and film projects including 1760 Sasumaa and Commitment (2017).[2]
Career
Manas Shah began his acting career with the television series Hamari Devrani, portraying the role of Gautam Nanavati. He later appeared in Hindi television programmes including Amita Ka Amit and Yeh Hai Chahatein.[3][4] In 2024, Shah portrayed a negative role in the television series Yeh Hai Chahatein.[5] He portrayed a double role, playing twin characters as part of a major storyline in the show.[6] In 2025, Shah appeared in the television series Tulsi – Hamari Badi Sayani.[1] He portrayed an action-oriented character in the show.[7]
In Gujarati television, he played the lead role in the series 1760 Sasumaa.[2]
Shah made his Gujarati film debut with Commitment (2017).[8]
Personal life
Manas Shah is from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Shah faced financial difficulties following delays in payment related to television projects and stated that he sold a car to manage living expenses during the lockdown.[9][10] In interviews, Shah has stated that he prefers to keep his personal relationships private.[11]
