Newton Falls High School is a public high school in Newton Falls, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Newton Falls Exempted Village School District. Their mascot is the Tigers, and they compete in the Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference as a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
History
Opened in 1920, Newton Falls High School serves students grades 9-12, and houses students in its campus grades 6-12.[1]
1985 Tornado
on May 31, 1985, an F5 Tornado swept through several towns across Ohio and Pennsylvania, including Newton Falls. The original high school, located on Center St, built in 1920 was destroyed. It was rebuilt the following year on its current Milton Blvd campus.[2][3]
