Nicolae Berechet
Nicolae Berechet (April 16, 1915 – August 19, 1936)[1] was a Romanian boxer who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics. He was born in Dioști, Dolj County. On August 11, 1936 he was eliminated in the first round of the featherweight class after losing his fight to Evald Seeberg. A few days after the match he died mysteriously of blood poisoning in Berlin and was buried there.[2]
