Obyce (Hungarian: Ebedec) is a village and municipality in Zlaté Moravce District of the Nitra Region, in western-central Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1332.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 248 metres (814 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 31.26 km² (12.07 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 1460 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 1510 people by ethnicity 1461 as Slovak, 41 as Not found out, 7 as Other, 6 as Czech, 2 as Austrian, 1 as Turkish, 1 as Russian, 1 as Polish and 1 as Hungarian.
