Rakan Al-Ghamdi (Arabic: راكان الغامدي; born 6 September 2005) is a Saudi Arabian professional football player who plays as a midfielder for Al-Nassr and the Saudi Arabia U20.[1][2][3][4][5]
Club career
Al-Ghamdi started his career at the youth teams of Al-Nassr. On 3 September 2024, Al-Nassr agreed professional career abroad to loan him to Al-Ghamdi joined NEC U21 on a one-year loan.[6] On 7 June 2025, Al-Ghamdi returned to Al-Nassr.[7] On 24 December 2025, he made his first appearance with the first team in the AFC Champions League Two against Al-Zawraa.[8]
International career
Saudi Arabia U20
He was called up to the Saudi Arabia U20 to participate in 2025 AFC U-20 Asian Cup.[9] He was called up to the Saudi Arabia U20 to participate in 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.[10]
Saudi Arabia U23
He was called up to the Saudi Arabia U23 to participate in 2024 WAFF U-23 Championship.[11] he was called up to the Saudi Arabia U23 to participate in 2024 Maurice Revello Tournament.[12] he was called up to the Saudi Arabia U23 to participate in 2025 Maurice Revello Tournament.[13] he was called up to the Saudi Arabia U23 to participate in 2025 AGCFF U-23 Gulf Cup.[14] and contributed to winning the title.[15]
