Shireen Amir Begum was the first wife and cousin of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who served as the fourth president and ninth prime minister of Pakistan.[1] She was the daughter of Khan Bahadur Ahmad Khan Bhutto,[2] the brother of Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto. She was married to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in 1943,[3][4] at the time she was ten years his senior.[5] The couple had no children.
She died from a cardiac arrest on 19 January 2003 and was laid to rest in the Bhutto family mausoleum.[6][7]
