Sialkot Stallionz (Punjabi/Urdu: سیالکوٹ سٹالئنز) is a Pakistani professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team that will compete in the Pakistan Super League. The team is based in Sialkot, Pakistan with Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad as its home ground.[1] The franchise was established as part of the league's expansion from six to eight teams for the 2026 Pakistan Super League. Franchise was bought by OZ Developers for PKR 1.85 billion (approximately USD 6.55 million) at an auction held by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on 8 January 2026 in Islamabad.[2][3][4] Making it the most expensive PSL franchise.[2]

The Sialkot Stallionz will make its debut in PSL 11 (2026 season), which is scheduled to be played from 26 March to 3 May 2026 under an expanded eight-team format.[5]

History

In December 2025, the PCB confirmed plans to expand the Pakistan Super League by adding two new franchises beginning with the 2026 season. The board initiated a bidding process and conducted a technical evaluation, qualifying ten bidders for participation in the auction.[6] Six cities were shortlisted by PCB for new franchises including Rawalpindi, Muzafarabad, Gilgit, Faisalabad, Hyderabad and Sialkot.

The franchise auction was held on 8 January 2026. Sialkot and Hyderabad were confirmed as the two new teams.[3][7]

Hamza Majeed of OZ Developers secured the Sialkot franchise with a successful bid of PKR 1.85 billion per year, making it the most expensive PSL team.[8][2][9] With Jinnah Stadium, Sialkot in poor condition the team is likely to play its home matches at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad.[9][1] Team name was disclosed on 21 January 2026 via an X post[10] and the team logo was unveiled on 10 February 2026.

Before the start of their debut season, OZ Developers sold 75 percent shares of franchise to Alpha Sports, a sports company based in Australia.[11]

The Sialkot franchise is owned by Alpha Sports 75% and OZ Developers 25%.[11] The group entered the PSL through the 2026 expansion auction and committed to long-term participation in the league structure introduced by the PCB.[3][12] On 21 January 2026 franchise co-owner Kamil Khan announced on X that team name will be Sialkot Stallionz.[10]
