Sukarsih
Tjitjih Sukarsih (born 17 February 1920) is an Indonesian actress. She is known for her supporting role in Pareh (1934) along with Rd. Mochtar who became her husband three years later in 1937 and for her only leading role in Akibat (1951).

Tjitjih Sukarsih was born on 17 February 1920 in Tasikmalaya, West Java.[1] She was educated at Schakel School.[1] Sukarsih started her career as a film actress by made her film debut in Pareh (1934) as a supporting role along with Rd. Mochtar who later became her husband three years later in 1937.[1] She then joined a several troupes, such as Terang Bulan troupe in 1942, Bintang Surabaya troupe in 1943, and Pantja Warna troupe in 1946.[1] Sukarsih later made her only leading role in film by starred in Akibat (1951) and also starred in a few films, such as Rodrigo de Villa (1952), Djandjiku (1956), Tauhid (1964), Jembatan Merah (1973), Krakatau (1977), and etc.[1] As of the end of 1977, she had completed 24 films where most of the roles she plays in the films are mother roles.[1]
As of 1979, Sukarsih resides at Andir Street 237/79 in Bandung.[1]
