Svinice (Hungarian: Szinyér) is a village and municipality in the Trebišov District in the Košice Region of south-eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1311.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 100 metres (330 ft)[3] and covers an area of 5.25 km2 (2.03 sq mi) (2024).[4]
