Svinice (Hungarian: Szinyér) is a village and municipality in the Trebišov District in the Košice Region of south-eastern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1311.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 100 metres (330 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 5.25 km² (2.03 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 219 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 216 people by ethnicity 195 as Hungarian, 35 as Slovak and 2 as Not found out.
