Tuchyňa (Hungarian: Tohány) is a village and municipality in Ilava District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1243.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 265 metres (869 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 5.54 km² (2.14 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 866 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 806 people by ethnicity 795 as Slovak, 12 as Not found out, 6 as Czech, 1 as Serbian and 1 as Hungarian.
