Urahoro Station (浦幌駅, Urahoro-eki) is a railway station located in the town of Urahoro, Tokachi District, Hokkaidō, It is operated by JR Hokkaido.[1][2]
Lines
The station is served by the Nemuro Main Line, and lies 95.4 km from the starting point of the line at Shintoku.[3]
Layout
Urahoro Station has two opposed side platforms, connected by a footbridge. The statio is staffed and has a Midori no Madoguchi ticket office.[2]

History
The station opened on 25 December 1903 as a station on the Hokkaidō Kansetsu Tetsudō. It was transferred to the Ministry of Railways on 1 April 1905.[3] Following the privatization of the Japanese National Railways on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR Hokkaido.[3]
