Vikash Nowlakha is an Indian cinematographer who works in Hindi and English films and television. He has worked as a director of photography for films like Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year (2009), Laapataa Ladies (2024), and Dhurandhar (2025). In addition to his work in films, he has also shot TV commercials and advertisements for Maserati, BMW, Buick, Chevrolet, Yamaha, Lexus, Honda, Skoda, Vespa, Fiat, the New York Knicks, Nike, Adidas, Fevicol and Ambuja Cements.
Education
Vikash Nowlakha graduated in Eastern Philosophy and Environmental Economics from the University of Tasmania. In 2001, he enrolled at the New York Film Academy to study cinematography.[1]
