Villers-Canivet (French pronunciation: [vilɛʁ kanivɛ]) is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France.
Geography
The river Laizon flows through the commune.[3] in addition three streams also flow through the commune, the Cassis, the Moussaye and the Manque-Souris.[4][5][6]

National Heritage sites
The commune has three sites listed as a Monument historique.[8]
- The Old abbey - a former Cistercian abbey founded around 1127 by Roger de Montbray.[9] The buildings date from around 14th centaury, it was listed as monument in 1974.[10] The former abbey is open to the public from May to September.[10]
- Torp Chapel - Twelfth centaury chapel listed as a monument in 2003.[11]
- Église Saint Vigor - Twelfth centaury chapel listed as a monument in 1946.[12]
