Volodymyr Bugrov

Volodymyr Anatoliiovych Bugrov (Володимир Анатолійович Бугров), born 10 November 1967) is a Ukrainian philosopher and academic administrator.[1]

He is serving as rector of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv since 30 April 2021.[2][3]

Awards and honours

Bugrov was awarded the Order of Merit (3rd class) in 2017 by presidential decree.[4] The university reported that the decoration was presented in May 2018 during events marking Ukraine's Day of Science.[5]

Career

  • Bugrov has worked at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv since 1995, initially as an assistant at the Department of Philosophy and Methodology of Science (1995–1998).[6][7]
  • He is currently the chairman of the Scientific and Methodological Council of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the author of over 100 academic works and research papers.[8]
