William T. Couldwell is a Canadian neurosurgeon who is professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Utah,[1] a position he assumed in 2001.
Career
Couldwell is currently (or has served) on the Editorial Boards of the Journal of Neurosurgery, and was the Chairman from 2007–2008. He served on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), and is a Former Director of the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS).[2]
He was President of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) (2013–2014),[3] and was President of the American Academy of Neurological Surgery (AAcNS; 2016–2017).[4]
He served as President of the World Academy of Neurological Surgery, 2018-2020.[5]
