Zachary Hays is an American high school football punter and defensive end. He is committed to play college football for the TCU Horned Frogs.[1]
Early life
Hays attended high school at Carroll Senior High School. By his senior year, he was ranked a 6-star punter recruit by Chris Sailer Kicking[2] and a 3-star recruit by 247Sports and ESPN. Hays also played defensive end, totaling 98 tackles and 11.5 sacks on his career.[3] Earning 11 NCAA Division I program offers,[4] Hays committed to play college football for the TCU Horned Frogs on November 30, 2025.[5] He played as a punter in the Navy All-American Bowl on January 10, 2026.[6]
