Name
Anthomastus sphaericus Li, Li & Xu, 2025
Type locality: M4 Seamount, 1435m
Holotype: MBM286336, collected on August 20, 2017 from the station FX-Dive 136 (10°28.54′N, 140°05.64′E) of M4 seamount with water depth of 1435 m.
Paratypes: MBM286337 and MBM286338, each with one specimen, collected together with the holotype.
Etymology: The Greek adjective sphaericus (spherical) refers to the spherical capitulum of the species.
