Type locality: Brazil, Espírito Santo, Santa Leopoldina, Dorf Tirol, ca. 700 m, 24°75’ S 40°50’ W.
Holotype: ZSM. male ♂. 08-20.XII.1996. legit H. Thöny. Gen. ML2206.
Synonyms
- Laguerre (2023: 24) explained that the specimens were mislabelled and certainly did not originate from South America but from Asia. And that this species shall be a synonym of Diacrisia cymbalophoroides Rothschild, 1910 from Lesser Sunda Islands.
