Note: Cock & Laguerre (2023) have demonstrated that P. vacillans is a sexually dimorphic and variable species, and this resulted in description of many taxa, that are synonyms: Phoenicoprocta vacillans ab. nigropeltata, ab. punicea, Paramya chrysonota, Antichloris trinitatis etc...
