Type locality: female (11.0×14.0 mm), station CP4135, continental slope, sandy coral substrate, many solitary corals, 1 9 °58.42 ′N 114 °32.93 ′E–19 °58.94 ′N 114°37.70′E, 211–218 m, ca. 200 km westsouthwest of Tungsha Islands, South China Sea, coll. T.-Y. Chan, RV “Ocean Researcher 1”, ZHONGSHA 2015 Cruise, 23 July 2015.
