Legends:Piglin horde

A piglin horde refers to one of three divisions of the piglin invasion, each horde having unique structures, piglins, and tactics.

Lore

The piglin society is ruled over by the Great Hog and is divided into three hordes. The hordes were scattered across the Overworld after the Night Beacon was destroyed:

The Horde of the Bastion is under the leadership of the Unbreakable, and is known for their organized army and excessive fondness for strength and fortifications.
The Horde of the Hunt is under the leadership of the Beast, and is known for the piglins' aggressive movement to "run down their prey".
The Horde of the Spore is under the leadership of the Devourer, and is known for constantly feeding their ever-hungry leader out of fear of being eaten or punished in other ways.

When all the three hordes fell, the Great Hog decided to destroy the Well of Fate as a revenge for having their generals defeated by the Hero, only for them to fail.

Mechanics

Upon destroying the Night Beacon, the three hordes begin appearing on the map. Each horde occupies a specific location of the Overworld. Each horde's territory has three to five piglin bases depending on the difficulty, along with piglin outposts around the base complex.

Destroying every base of each horde will spawn the boss of of their respective horde:

Destroying all Horde of the Bastion bases will spawn the Unbreakable in a final high-level base.
Destroying all Horde of the Hunt bases will spawn the Beast as part of a village attack.
Destroying all Horde of the Spore bases will spawn the Devourer in a final high-level base.
