Pseudauliscus peruvianus (Kitton ex Ralfs in Pritchard, 1861) A.Schmidt, 1875

Etymology: The species was originally observed in Peruvian and Californian guanos - so the epithet likely refers to the first of these samples.

Note: Ralfs cites an unpublished manuscript of Kitton when describing this species.
