How to Identify

A shrub or small tree. In J. Powell's article as Astronia sp. and this may be Astronia papuana Cogn. which has as a synonym of Pharmacum papuanum Kuntze. Astronia ledermannii Mansf. also occurs in PNG. Robin Hide has Astronia sp. (gogube) being eaten in the Sinasina.
