How to Identify
A scrambling shrub or woody climber. The branches have small brown hairs. The nodes are swollen. The leaves are narrowly oval or oblong and 8-18 cm long by 4-10 cm wide. The base is rounded and they taper to the tip. The flowering shoots are in the upper leaf axils and have 3-12 flowers. These are pink. The fruit is a berry 10-12 mm across.
