How to Identify
A tree. It grows 12-18 m tall. The trunk is 40 cm across. The young twigs are hairy. The leaves are alternate and 6-13 cm long by 3-6 cm wide. They are wedge shaped at the base. The flowering shoots are 12-31 mm long. The flowers are pale yellow.
Notes
The name is ambiguous. It is an at risk species.
