How to Identify

A shrub or small tree. It can grow 2-27 m tall. The trunk can be 1-60 cm across. The leaves have 4-6 leaflets. The flowering shoots are in the axils of the leaves and near the ends of branches. The flowers are 4 mm across. They are pinkish-white. The fruit have 1-3 well developed lobes. They are 1-2 cm long by 1.7-1.9 cm wide. They are red. The seeds are round or oval and 7-9 mm long by 5-7 mm wide.
