How to Identify
An annual herb. It grows 20-40 cm long. The stems lie along the ground. The leaves are compound. They have 3 leaflets. The leaves are alternate. There are teeth along the edge. The flowers are yellow. The fruit is dry and splits open when ripe. The fruit are 3-10 cm long. There are many brown seeds. They are 2 mm across.
