It is a temperate plant. In China it grows in northern regions on mountain slopes. It grows between 500-2,000 m above sea level.

How to Identify
A herb. It grows 30-90 cm high. The leaves are oval to sword shaped and 5-11 cm long by 1-4 cm wide.
