How to Identify
A small to medium-sized tropical tree growing about 16 m high, found in primary forest along the coast in West Africa. It belongs to the Fabaceae family.
Notes
There are 15 Afzelia species. They occur in the tropics. Probably now Afzelia parviflora. Also as Caesalpinaceae.
