How to Identify
A small tree or much branched shrub. It grows 3-6 m tall. The young stems are angular. The leaves are narrowly oval and 2-5 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. They are wedge shaped at the base and narrow to a rounded tip. The flowers are in small groups at the ends of the branches. The petals are greenish-cream. The fruit are a flattened round shape and red or purple. They are up to 1.2 cm long and 1.3 cm wide.
