Where to Find It

It is a warm temperate plant. It grows in Sichuan and Yunnan in China.

How to Identify

A tree. It grows 7-15 m tall. The leaves are opposite and oval. They are 7-15 cm long by 3-9 cm wide. They have white hairs underneath. The flowers are in groups 8-12 cm across. The flowers are white. The fruit are bluish-black and 4-5 mm across. The stone is 3-4 mm across.

Production

In Yunnan fruit are available in August and September.
