How to Identify

A tree. It grows 5-10 m tall. The bark is dark greyish brown. The leaves are oval and 4.5-12 cm long by 2.7-5.5 cm wide. They are pale green underneath. There are teeth along the edge. The flower petals are pink and have 2 lobes. The fruit is red and a flattened round shape. They are 7.5-8.3 mm across.
