How to Identify
A fig. It is an erect tree which can also grow attached to other trees. It grows to 15 m high. It often has aerial roots. The fruit is orange when mature.
How to Grow
It can be grown by twig or branch cuttings.
Other Information
The fruit are eaten by children.
Notes
There are about 800-1000 Ficus species. They are mostly in the tropics. There are 120 Ficus species in tropical America.
