A tropical plant. They grow in the tropics. It grows attached to trees and on rocks in rainforests.

How to Identify

A large fern. It grows attached to other plants. It has creeping rhizomes. These are densely scaly. The fronds with leaflets 10-15 cm long. These hang down. The rhizome scales drop off with age. The rhizome is then white and chalky.

How to Grow

Plants can be grown from spores.
