A salt-tolerant herb in the Amaranthaceae family (also classified as Chenopodiaceae) that grows in salty coastal locations.

Notes

There are about 15 Sarcocornia species. They grow in salty locations. Also put in the family Chenopodiaceae. Not in The Plant List.
