How to Identify

Stellaria sp. probably media. A low leafy plant which grows from seed. The stems have a line of hairs down one side. The flowers are small and white.

It is self sown from seed.

Other Information

A very minor wild edible green in Papua New Guinea.

Notes

There are about 130 Stellaria species. They are mostly in temperate regions.
