A glow squid is a passive mob and a squid variant that can be found within Squid Coast and Radiant Ravine. It squirts ink when attacked and applies Blinded effect to a hero.

The Eponymous Squid is a giant variant that can be found be found at the secret squid party within the Squid Coast.
Spawning
Secret squid party
In the mission, the secret squid party can be triggered by finding four patches of sunflowers in a specific order and standing by the flowers for a moment, then a button appears near them. Press all of the buttons in the right order and go back to the start of the mission and roll over to the bridge with the gold chest. In addition to the Eponymous Squid, several glow squids spawn there as well. There are also fireworks and music.[1]

Issues for Minecraft Dungeons relating to "Glow Squid" are no longer maintained on the bug tracker since September 28, 2023.
Trivia
- The "Iceologer's Revenge" achievement is a reference to the iceologer losing to the glow squid in the mob vote of the original game.
- The Eponymous Squid concept originally came about from a joke among the developers about having a secret squid boss appear on the Squid Coast.[2]
