A piggy bank, also known as a loot pig, is a rare passive mob that can be found within the various missions of the game. If attacked by a hero, they drop emeralds and various loot.

Spawning

Drops

These drops appear only when a piggy bank is hit or killed by a hero.

• 100% drop an armor, melee weapon or ranged weapon.
• 20% drop an artifact.
• Drops several emeralds each time hit by hero.
  • Default total value: 8~16 emerald (excluding Apocalypse difficulty)
• 100% drop 2 consumable item: foods, potions, arrow bundles or TNT.

Behavior

A piggy bank, when it appears, stands still, looking cautiously for heroes and mobs, while wobbling under the pressure of its chest. When a piggy bank is hit by a hero, it widens its eye, then drops emeralds and is stunned for a short time. If the hero successfully kills it, it drops more loot. If left alone on screen for long enough, however, it eventually disappears along with the chest, without dropping loot.

When a hero gets close to a piggy bank, it would try to flee.
